I LOVE video home tours. Your home is sooo gorgeous. I love all the light, airy colors! And Max is a doll!!!!! What kind of camera were you using? Do you also take all of your photos with the same camera?

        Thanks Brittany,
To film I use our old digital camera, a Fujifilm finepix s700. And the camera I use for photography is a Nikon D80!
Our Nikon doesn't have HD video capabilities, so we keep our old camera around for filming.
Up until this year we used the fujifilm camera for everything!
        Hope that helps

Beautifully done Ashli. Just what I expected, it looks really fabulous. Congrats on your first VLOG! The entire house is painted in the same color? And if you don't mind what color is it? On my end it looks a little grey. But I am blind without my glasses so not sure.
      Thanks

        Thanks Racquel,
The mainfloor and upstairs hallway are painted the same color. When we moved in every single room was the same color!
It's Mourning Dove by Martha Stewart! It is a little grey, a little green and a little taupe!

Same comments as the others. Congratulations on the VLOG. I'm excited to see what you have in store for us this week. Your house is gorg. Your dog is way cute. I now have a new paint color to try in my kitchen. I thought you would sound more "Canadian" too but I'm near the border south of Quebec so that might be why : ) I LOVE your home and was actually surprised by the layout. I didn't realize the kitchen and dining room were open like that. If you ever look at my blog and start to see a replica of your house know that I'm not a stalker - I just love your style! : )

Your home is lovely and so are you! Thanks so much for being willing to share so much. It is interesting to see how it all relates. I found a set of the little magnet birds you have in the front hall after seeing yours and I am trying to talk my husband into putting a fireplace in our room like you put in yours--this video will surely work in my favor. You have a lovely voice too--you sound a lot like a nice lady I work with. You have just a hint of a Canadian "about"--made me smile!

Thanks and you and Lee keep up the great work, you have people all over the place who consider you friends!

Your house is so amazing! Love everything about it. I was just wondering what did you ever do with your living room area rug? I remember it had stain and you layered a smaller rug over it, but in the video I didn't see the smaller area rug. Did you end up finding a way to remove the stain? Thanks for the tour of your beautiful home, and for being such an inspiration.

Loved the tour, Luh-huv your house! OK, your house is so perfect, I'm so jealous. I'm sure it must bring a wonderful calm. Do you really not have ANY clutter? Please tell me you do! :-) Do you store it all in the basement? :-) Oh, how I would love a basement.

      Nice job, Ashli!!

You two have a really beautiful home, Ashli. Seeing it in a video tour instead of just in individual photos shows what a good design flow you have going on throughout the whole house. Everything goes together so wonderfully without being weirdly 'matchy'. Very, very beautiful. (Thanks for answering my question about the bedroom chandelier, by the way.)

You have a lovely voice. There was no need to worry about it. (I thought that you might be screeching like a hawk or something!)

Max is a dear. You just want to scoop him up and reassure him of his well deserving love all day long!

Finally got to see the video.... lovely home, lovely voice (no ums, what are you talking about!!??), and I finally understand how the library/office connects to the rest of the main floor! Looking forward to many more of these videos. :)

Stunning home and decorating! Enjoyed the video so much. Max is such a sweetheart :o) love him!! Thanks for sharing. Very inspiring! Great work!
We've lived in our house for over two years, the more I do to make it what I want, the more it turns out NOT to be. Enjoy all your photos, I can at least get 'lost' in dreams!

Love your decorating style! I noticed your jewelry organization in your walk-in! It's genius! I struggle with keeping my jewels organized. Would love a post on your organizing tips!
