They call me Melllow Yellow . . . Pillow

Although I'm not sure if I've ever been called "mellow", what's the opposite of mellow . . . High Strung! Yup that's me!

It's now official, I should be banned from the fabric store . . . in fact, I've just banned myself! Consider me banned! I went in to buy $2 worth of interfacing for a $3 project, and I came out with a yard of beautiful yellow fabric from DWELL.
    Did I need it? NOPE
Should I have bought it? Definitely Not.
Does it look good on the couch? HECK YEAH it does!

    Seriously . . . .BANNED!

Anyway, Here's what I did using just over half a yard of fabric, I made a pillow.

I still have almost a half yard of fabric left, I'm thinking Bar Mops and maybe some trim on new napkins!!

You always find the best fabric! Love the pop of color the pillow adds.

Ashlii? I am wondering if we have the same one

Hope that helps and you have one in Toronto!!!

I envy your sewing skills! The pillows look great! The fabric section is dangerous for me, too. The days you're supposed to be good are the days they have Robert Allen remnants on sale. Argh!

Tell me about it, when I plan on spending money at the fabric store I can't find anything, and when I plan on spending $2 I end up finding the perfect fabric!!

        Thank you!
We bought it off of Craigslist. But it's a Stylus Sofa! There sold at lots of different retailers in North America, www.stylus.com
Our old couch was also a stylus couch. My Parents have had their stylus couch for 12 or 13 years now, and instead of getting a new one, they're going to get it re-upholstered because all of the cushions and the frame are still in great condition!!
        Hope that helps

Love the new yellow pillow on your couch! I know the feeling about going in for one project...and coming out with supplies for 2 more! I recently went to Joanns for fabric to recover a chair...and came out with supplies to make a new bracelet!? What?

Love the pillow! Quick question-what pillows do you use as inserts. The ones at JoAnne's are so flat and not full and puffy like yours. Thanks!

        Thanks Rib!!
I use feather pillow inserts from Ikea. They super cheap and I love how big and fluffy they look. In my experience they have to be feather, poly fill pillows never look as nice as feather!
        Hope that helps
