    Flowers on Friday: Lilies

Before I get to today's flowers on friday: the LILY edition. How do you like our new header? I thought that because we are moving and will no longer be in a town home for two, I should probably take that out of the title. I know it's a little premature, since our house isn't sold yet, and we haven't picked a new one, but I like to stay one step ahead of the game :) and once our house sells and we find a new one I won't have any time for header re-designs. So I hope you like the new header.

Also notice, the new sidebar buttons, not all of them are up and functioning yet, so those ones will just re-route you back to the home page, but I hope to have all the buttons fully functioning over the weekend.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming :)

LILIES, will always have a special spot in my heart. The first time Lee ever bought me flowers it was a bouquet of Lilies, big beautiful pink ones.
Lilies were also our wedding flower, in honor of our first bouquet.

I love the smell of lilies! They can fill a room faster and with more scent then any candle or spray I've ever used. Because we had potential buyers coming through all week I wanted the house to smell fantastic, but I also didn't want to do anything too cliche, like baking cookies. Lilies was the perfect choice, it kept the house smelling lovely all week!

Just found your blog through BYW. I took a look at past posts and your house and I'm so impressed by your tidy ways and housekeeping. I want to drop everything and clean! And your dog is adorable.

Always fun to change things up a little...kinda goes along with decorating, DIY, organizing, etc. We can't help ourselves!
Can't wait for your place to sell to see how you use things from your townhome in your new home. And what you come up with that's all brand new.

I too found your blog through BYW... Your townhouse is lovely! why would you ever want to move? your attention & detail in "creating" a home is awesome - to think you even put your laundry detergent (I think that is what I saw on your washing machine top - tour of your home link) in a beautiful glass jar with a scoop in it! details! details! I would imagine your home "shows" really well for prospective buyers!
Good Luck with your Open House!

      Thank you Christine
The container that holds our laundry detergent is from Homegoods (homesense in Canada). It's a lucite plastic container with a chrome clasp in the front! It's super handy!!! and as a bonus it's latched so tightly that if the washing machine shakes it off it won't bust open and pour our detergent all over the carpet :) and the scoop inside is just a table spoon scoop I found at a second hand store it's also chrome so it matches :)
