One of our most literal interpretations, would be our canary Carson. Martha has a huge canary cage full of beautiful red-factor canaries. We have a smaller cage with just one canary. When we decided we wanted a little birdy we did a lot of research. We didn't want one that constantly made squaking noises, but we did like chirping. We also wanted a lower maintenance bird, large birds and other soft billed birds tend to be a little more work then hard billed birds such as canaries and other finch breeds.
Canaries sing beautifully, however it's the male canaries that sing not the females.
Eventually I would love to have multiple canaries in a canary cage just like Martha's but for now I am happy being a mini-martha with my Canary Carson.
awe I love birds thats such a cute story too :)
