We finally finished the outside of our house, and we'll hope we'll have lots of customers for our "DEAD and Breakfast"

We have some seriously eager customers who can't wait for the grand opening, they're trying to break in through the windows!
We are so excited for Halloween Night, if last year is any indication of this year we're expecting just over 400 trick or treaters (I'm seriously last year we ran out of candy after 400 kids). Our block will have a DJ, a very spooky haunted house, a Tim Hortons truck giving out free hot chocolate and coffee, a smoke canon, and a BIG PARTY!!! To see all of our photos from Saturdays Party, check out our facebook page for all of the gruesome details.
Love your skeletons! Great job.
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm impressed your house looks amazing! Apparently I should move the family to your neighborhood; we do not have any of that going on. I usually get about 200 trick or treaters and I thought that was a lot, but you have me beat. Although this year Hurricane Sandy is due to put quite a damper on the festivities, so I doubt we will have more than a few dozen.
ReplyDeletesooo fun! I LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! How cute!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't do a whole lot this year, mostly lights in protected spaces, due to that trick-or-treater known as SANDY who's due to make an appearance. My brother is the one who goes all out, including a COFFIN on the front lawn. LOL.
That is absolutely adorable! And "spookyyyyy" :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome community!!!! Its not a gated community is it?
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky.
DeleteNo we aren't a gated community just a block that LOVES halloween!!!! It's funny because Lee is Halloween GUY! and we moved on to Halloween ROAD!!!
Lots of Love
Ashli
OMG...I love it! Love the "Dead and Breakfast" sign. So clever. 400 trick or treaters...WOW!!
ReplyDeletelooks amazing and very scary, love the sign good job Ashli and Lee.
ReplyDeleteLove it! What a great concept. Oh, how I love Halloween.
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! We hardly have any kids come by. We end up going to another community to trick or treat with our kids and leave a bowl out.
ReplyDeleteWondering where you get your skeletons....they are great. I have seen the ones that are in pieces, but not the "fully assembled" version anywhere. When I first saw the picture of your house, it reminded me of the miniature model town in the movie Beetlejuice. The lights totally make it pop! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWell, Sandy has scared our decorations inside too. City of Toronto has asked everyone to take their stuff in, along with ALL items not secured to the ground or house.
ReplyDeleteHope we'll be able to put them out at least the day of to spook things up a bit. We have a spider theme at the ready!
You guys rocked it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! How neat that your whole neighborhood gets involved, including Timmy's!
ReplyDeleteGreat job putting your Dead and Breakfast together.
Wow, that is awesome! I love how the skeletons are actually climbing the house! Would have loved to decorate but just moved into the new house and are mid-renovation. At least my son carved a pumpkin though.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely AWESOME! Would love to trick or treat in your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteLove how you get into Halloween. It looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteOn another note - I know you have a Tassimo, if you like the Timmies, you will live to know that they are now making Tim Horton's t-discs! I just about jumped off the couch to go to the store in the thick of the storm to go get some.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! YES! I think I just joyfully cried a little!!!!
DeleteThank you so much for letting us know! Tim Hortons coffee is my Favorite!
Well, I think it looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing-looking house! The lighting was perfect for a spooky shot.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks amazing. I was floored when I read '400 trick or treaters', I had to read it several times! Here in Australia where Halloween isn't much of a thing, I bought some chocolate thinking a couple of kids might come to the door and was disappointed when not one did! But 400! I can't even imagine!
