    Here's how they look NOW:
For Fall I wanted to change out the petunia beside the garage door. I didn't want to stare at an empty planter all winter so we picked up a cedar from home depot! It will be big bright and green all winter long!!! :)

Fall came so quickly, one day it was too hot to sit in the backyard, the next day I have the fireplace on! But I love fall it's my favorite time of year!!! Especially when I can get outside and do some fall planting!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
On Monday we have some Dining Room changes to share!!! I'm so excited to show you!!! :)

This reminded me that I need to switch out my summer plants. Love the cedar!

Your Impatiens are crazy! Funny story---> I bought the same globe cedar from Home Depot for the square planter beside our garage too. Haha, I just hope I don't kill mine by accident. Love all your latest updates Ashley.

I love impatiens, they're such an easy plant! Yours are huge though, I've never been able to grow them that big. Ours died early this year though :( they usually last until early October.

I've never grown impatiens and yours are stunning - may considering putting them on my deck next year. Did you start them from seeds?

I'm envious of your fall temps. We're still hovering in the upper 80's...although admittedly, that is 10 degrees cooler than it was a few weeks ago, so maybe fall is on the way here in Utah? I don't even pull out my fall decor until October...because if I do, I just get depressed with how hot it is and how I'm still wearing shorts and flip flops. :)

Wow, your plants really went crazy, didn't they? Your pots all look wonderful. Send some of that fall to Texas, pretty please! We're having a break on our heat, but it's still far from actually cool.

This is a great idea. I wonder, will you trade the cedar back out in the spring? If so, what do you plan on doing with the cedar at that point?

I'm loving looking around the blog and finding fun projects. Thanks for all your wisdom-sharing! :)

        Hi Jeanette,
I'll probably just leave it there for the rest of forever! With us being on the west coast cedar trees and cedar fences are almost a must have!
But I love the way it looks so as long as it lives . . . it will probably be in that planter!! :)

How beautiful Ashli! You've got great exposure in your backyard. I love the pots you've chosen. Are you coming to the Blend this year? I'll be in France so I won't be there but if you do go, have fun for me.

Thanks!!! It's from Homesense (Homegoods) I searched for at least a year to find one at a good price, that was Black (but not black black), skinny and tall! Almost a full year of searching and I finally found it!!!
If a homegoods near you still has them they would probably be on clearance by now??
        Lots of Love
