We've had a couple of exceptionally cold Spring days here in BC, and when I saw the pretty Spring flowers, in front of our blazing fire, I thought "Doesn't that completely sum up Spring in Canada".
Once the rain cleared and we had some Sun, I moved them in front of the living room windows . . . so they could enjoy the view! ;P
Happy Spring . . . wherever you are! :)
so very true...here I am freezing ...waiting for the home to warm up...but outside the window LIlacs Hostas...and now my Foxgloves are all just so pretty...yes crazy Canada weather!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers look so very pretty where they are in your lovely home!
Oh Ashli if you come to Scout Market I think you will enjoy it...the venue is being set up and it looks fabulous...Rachel & Lily are so professional...& talented!
p.s. if you come say hi!
The flowers are beautiful! It's been hot, hot, hot here. At least we have gotten some much needed rain.
ReplyDeleteHahaha that seems to sum it up about right! It's been cold here in the Kootenays as well and raining a lot the past week although we did have a few days of warmer temperatures! Hopefully in June we'll get some nice hot weather!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Alstromeria. They last a long time so it's lots of bloom for your buck. They look beautiful with the mums.
ReplyDeleteI love reading from the point of view of another British Columbian. I've been laid up sick at home the last few days and the weather matched me perfectly. Your flowers look beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are pretty, and I like that vase, too! Here in Germany we've had the very first really "hot" summer days yesterday and today ... the girls (my daughter and her friend) played in the garden and jumped over the sprinkler ... ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to watch them.
Jule
Your man has such good taste in flowers!!! Your vignette looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring from Tennessee! It's been super hot here. Gonna be around 95 over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers! I'm in Western Australia, we're in Autumn (Fall) at the moment, but half the time you can't even tell!
ReplyDeleteIt's bright and sunny here nearly all the time, but it can get cold sometimes (well, cold for us! I'm sure people from cold climates would laugh at us) so you get people rugged up in warm clothes on what looks like a lovely spring day.
Beautiful flowers Ashli...they look so lovely in your living room. I'm from Australia too, and as we're heading into Winter next month, there isn't too much colour blooming in the garden at the moment. My flowering peach trees have shed their leaves, and I can't wait until the first blossoms start to appear in Spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love your little ant. Where did you get him?
ReplyDeletewe sure were feeling the heat in Southern Ontario today- unfortunately, it's come on pretty fast & furious. It was a pretty cool, late spring here and now it feels like full blown summer.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't mother nature know we need some time to acclimatize?
Sweet little bouquet. And yes, we've had some really great sunny days (finally, almost no summer in the PNW last year), but also some cold days. No blazing fire with spring flowers cold days, but still (smile).
