    What's better than 1??? . . . 3

    What's better than 1 towel bar . . . 3 towel bars.
I Love Towels, Clean, Dry Towels. I think that Clean, Dry Towels are one of life's little luxuries.
We have limited wall space in our bathroom. There was only one wall space that would fit a towel bar, and it was also the only spot we could put a full length mirror. The full length mirror won out and we needed to find a different spot to hang our towels.
Behind the door was the perfect solution. The perfect spot to grab a towel coming out of the shower.

The Chrome Towel Bars are from Homesense. I've always found that Homesense has great hardware for a great price. The Last 3 bathrooms we've renovated have all had Towel Bars and Toilet paper holders from Homesense.

Speaking of Toilet Paper dispensers . . . if you have kids or a husband and especially if you have both, your toilet paper dispenser should look like this.

This is the only way to get people to change the empty roll of toilet paper!!!

And yes, of coarse I always fold the toilet paper into a little point . . . that definitely wasn't just for this picture, this is always how the toilet paper in my  house looks ;).

One last glimpse at why 3 is better than 1.

What a great idea! I would have never thought about using 3! But, I do like when an odd number of anything are grouped together! Love it!

Ashli-I LOVE your blog. My husband and I recently bought a new build that seems very "cookie cutter" and I felt that I couldn't make it my home. After looking at your blog, I have so much inspiration. What you and your husband have done with your home is amazing!

Ahhh! That toilet paper roll. Genius! I may have to switch all of mine out. Just the thought of toilet paper hanging from the roll when I didn't put it there is amazing!!! Thanks Ashli. Everything is looking so fresh in your bathroom. LOVE IT!

That is excellent! I love the 3 towel racks! We have one of those cheap multi towel hooks that suspend off the door and I hate, hate, hate it! It came with the house. :( I'm going to show my hubby this and try to convert him :D Also we have the same style of toilet paper roll and I agree! I'm one of those evil non-toilet roll changers and I've since changed my tune with it :D

I used to work at a Victorian B&B and we had to fold the end of the TP into a fan shape. Sometimes, to be funny, at other people's houses I fold their TP like after I use their restroom.

This is a brilliant idea! My bathroom also has limited wall space. I never would have thought of putting a towel rack on our door!! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.

It looks wonderful! I couldn't help but notice the floor in your bath. Could you tell me more about it? I couldn't find anything in your house tour about it. Thank you so much!

        Hi Megan,
I'll definitely cover the floor in our final reveal post. But it wasn't a design choice we made it was one made by the builders before we purchased the house.
In short it's a porcelain tile that's made to look like a soap stone or a slate tile. It's okay but definitely not my first choice.
I'm hoping to have some final touches done this weekend and a reveal on Next week. I'll definitely include some close ups of the tile.
Lots of Love and thanks for asking

Your bathroom is so pretty. I like the towel holders on the door. I'd love to do that in our bathroom but the door is a hollow core door. I'd probably have to change the door first, huh?

We have two TP holders like that in our house and the puppy knows which bathrooms they are in because she will go right up to it and slide the roll off the holder and bring it to her favorite play spot in the house. Messy! But smart pup! ;)

        Hi Lisa,
I believe our doors are hollow core ? ? ? I think ? ? ? I'll ask Lee when he gets home and I'll pop back here and post my findings :)

What a fresh looking bathroom! I love it!

Totally agree on the bathroom needs: I am mom to 3 boys and each has their own hook to hang their towel on and actually assigned color for towels, cups, etc, but it was always "Not Me" who left things laying around. They did each choose the color they wanted and we designed the room around those colors. (And actually, the poor boys, have been given that color on the family calendar and anything that pertains to their schedule or school organization--- it just kept them honest and me from yelling.) I am guessing that when they grow up they will hate that color, but it works for us and our busy life right now. :-D

Oh, and totally agree on the toilet paper holders. A MUST!

Thanks the White trash can is from . . . Walmart! We bought it a few years ago, but I believe it was in the kids section??? I've seen it there recently so they should still have it!
Bathrooms should always have a trash can with a lid!! ;)

Love the idea of using the back of the door! We have hooks in all of our bathrooms (I found the towels dry better). I was just saying we needed to buy a tp holder like that for the girls bath...they had one on the wall, but it kept coming off, now we have a floor version-but it is a PAIN to get the roll on and off...so you guessed it...I am the ONLY one who will change it. The one in our room has space for two...LOVE it!!

Great place to put the towel rods. I so agree about the type of toilet paper holder. I use this kind for my kids' bathrooms and it works perfectly.

I'm just putting the finishing touches on my renovated bathroom and still to do is hang a mirror and towel rails. I really didn't want to drill into the brand new tiled wall, but on the back of the door could be a good option. Thanks for the great idea!

Can I ask something odd--are those smaller size towels? I have a towel bar on our bathroom door, and it fits exactly 1 standard size bath towel hanging, if I want it to dry before the next shower. I would love to figure out how to get more towels in the room.
