I found the floral fabric at Fabricland and would you believe that the dark pillow on the right and the light pillow on the left are the same fabric??? The darker color is the "wrong" side of the fabric (I actually prefer it).
I didn't sew the middle pillow it was from Homesense and it was on serious markdown . . . $11.00 that's crazy! It's my new favorite pillow!
and the last picture is my attempt at artsy . . . it didn't really work out but I thought I'd throw it in there!
Next on the Living room list is, one pillow with a little bit of color in it! And some homemade gear artwork . . . assuming I can find gears (I might need some of Lee's help for that).
Ashli, I love the pillows! Great idea using both sides of the fabric. I have found sometimes I prefer the "wrong" side. Gears? Can't wait to see what you are up to.
ReplyDeleteThese are great Ashli!! I agree, great idea to use both sides of the fabric. Great shots for being taken at 1 am. ;) They look a lot better than mine would. The lighting in here at night is so wonky! Doesn't matter what I set the WB, ISO and all that at.
ReplyDeleteAshli these look great I love the two sided fabric option! The ikat is of course still my all time favorite!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the "gear" art!
Love the new pillows!! But where o where have the beautiful green lamps gone to? ;( Not that the new lamp doesn't go fabulous with the new pillows, but I envied you for those green lamps! Lol
ReplyDeleteI really like the pillows! Wow! The general colour scheme is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Girls!!!
ReplyDeleteRain- The little green lamps have found their way into the guest room! I thought that the scale was always a bit small for our giant couch and giant side tables! But they fit perfect with the guest room! I'll share pictures soon!
Lots of Love

ReplyDeleteUnknown, Thank you! You are way too sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I have NO idea where the robot prints are from, they were a birthday gift from my sister to Lee over a year ago!
I'm assuming they came from Etsy because she really LOVES etsy!!!
Super good luck finding them, sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

Hi Janice!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
The BIG white clock came from Urban Barn . . . but I've seem super similar almost exact ones on Amazon.com for at least half the price!! ouch!!!
Hope the helps
Ashli
You really should sell your pillows on etsy. I have looked, and the fabrics you use are appealing, and I see few on etsy that have the fabrics/taste of yours ( the same as I would choose if making or buying them). Yours look professional, and tasteful. :)
ReplyDeleteSo fresh and beautiful! And the fact that you would think outside the box, or in this case, the wrong side of the fabric, is, well, genius! Much love, Lisa
ReplyDeleteLove this look! The middle pillow is in Waverly's Kamala Kilim. Would love to know the name/brand of the reversible fabric....can't find it anywhere....
ReplyDeleteP.S. My yorkie's name is Tyrone!
