Today just felt like a two post kinda day!! So here's our quick second post!
Since it's Meal Plan Monday I thought I'd share our grocery list and my new favorite product, Chalkboard Paper.
The Best place to keep your grocery list is inside the pantry cabinet, as soon as you run out of something it's a right there for you to jot down!
I lined the inside of our pantry cabinet with $1 chalkboard paper from the Dollar Store. It works just as well as using the paint but if you ever change your mind it's as easy as removing the paper!
I hope you liked our little grocery list idea, and I hope you'll give chalkboard paper a try in your pantry cabinet!!

great idea! I wish our dollar stores had this!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen chalkboard paper. Genious! I just built a magnetic chalkboard, yet this is one of the coolest things I've seen. Your blog is adorable and I am your newest follower :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I have sticky cork tiles on the inside of a few of my cabinets... to tack up recipe cards, etc. I will definitely be on the watch for chalkboard paper now!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! My dollar store doesn't have that- not fair! Maybe JoAnn's? I am a new follower and love your creative blog. You can check mine out at http://readyornot-newyear.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteSHUT. UP! I love it.
ReplyDeletei've seen this done on other blogs, but i love that yours is just paper, so easy to remove!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I didn't even know there was such a thing.
ReplyDeleteBTW, did you change your living room chairs? Looks like the chair you had in your master is now in the living room. Just an observation! :)
Hi Katie!
ReplyDeleteNope that was just for a party we were having last weekend we brought down an extra chair and move the other ones around for movie night!
Good eyes though!!

I might have to make some of my own chalkboard paper. Can't commit to the paint on the doors (someone might divorce me over that one, and I have a feeling it would turn into an "I told you so" moment really quickly). But paper...I can make that. And on the pantry - you're right. That is where I need to know what I need to go buy.

Cute idea! You always come up with the best stuff. I am getting ready to start reading your archives!! :)
ReplyDeleteAshli - Out of curiosity, do you know if you can write on that paper with chalk markers? I know you can't with chalkboard paint, and I can't stand the feeling of writing with chalk, weird I know :)
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if you can write on it with a chalk marker? But i don't see why not! I've used chalk board paint and this chalkboard paper I found chalk comes off the same on both! I don't see why not! But maybe try a test spot off to the side before you commit!
I'm also not a big fan of writing with chalk . . . It's a little dusty for me! I'm going to have to try those markers!
Sorry I couldn't be of more help! If you give it a try let me know!
Lots of Love
Ashli
