    Flowers on Friday . . . .errr . . . . Thursday!

We're doing our flowers on Friday a day ahead of schedule this week, we'll be super busy painting the stair case tomorrow! The builders painted the stair moulding the same color as the wall, when it so clearly wants to be cream like the rest of the trim!! So we've got both of us on the case! If it goes well on Friday we might have an update for the weekend, fingers crossed :)

So here's our Flowers on Friday on Thursday!

I took the remaining flowers from our dining room arrangement, and made a mini arrangement for beside the kitchen sink.
Here's the original dining room bouquet:

In a mixed bouquet, the flowers tend to die off at different times. For example the lilies die before the carnations, I've found daisies and green filler also last a long time! So I took the few daisies that were still alive (barely) and the carnation and the greenery and made a smaller version of the same bouquet.
He likes to sit beside the Dish Soap :)

Check back with us tomorrow anyways, I have a quick little post on insect proofing your houseplants the natural way :)

I love the rocks you put under your soaps... I can't tell you how much this would improve my kitchen! LOL

      Can I copy that?

      Thanks everybody :)
My warning about the rocks in the soap dish is, that they don't work very well if you have a soap pump! Like the soap on the right! When you push down the pump the rocks just kind of displace. But for the soap on the right it works great :) And keeps our granite water ring free. Although Once I have to use the pump I'll probably take the rocks out :S
      Hope that helps!
Either way i still LOVE a little dish under the soap dispenser!

      Thanks Samiam-
The little dish is from HomeSense (or Homegoods in the States). I found it in the Kitchen section :)
      Hope that Helps
